My name is Edith Rongen, born and raised in Germany and lived there for 42 years. In 2008 I immigrated to New Brunswick, Canada and started to create my own paintings. After being in Canada for three years, I decided to move to the Edmonton area where I was able to improve my painting skills and to expand my knowledge. I keep learning with every picture I create. My paintings are mostly colourful and reflect my personality. Personally I prefer acrylic art on canvas and draw a variety of portraits from landscape to abstract.
